October Program: Astrophotography with Trey Walker

Our presenter for October will be Trey Walker.  I first met Trey while attending his Astrophotography Workshop at Cheaha State Park.  I talked to Trey at that time about presenting to HPS but unfortunately, Covid started soon after that. Finally, the stars aligned, and we were able to arrange a date for him to come. Trey describes himself as an Adventure Photographer.  I asked Trey to tell us a little about himself and his program:

The presentation will mainly cover long exposure photography for astrophotography but will relate what you learn to a few other styles of photography.

My name is Trey Walker, a 27-year-old, full time filmmaker and photographer. I’m self-taught and learn by trial and error. My favorite photography subject is the night sky, and I’ve taught many workshops on the topic. You may have seen a few workshops I’ve hosted at Cheaha State Park. At the end of the day, I just want to create and craft images that are compelling and strike a conversation.

Please join us on October 10th at Trinity United Methodist Church at 7:00 pm for this presentation.
