The world of photography extends well beyond the current dominance of digital cameras and smartphones. The “Film Group”is composed of HPS members who are interested in film photography, handmade prints, and experimental and alternative processes. We meet monthly to share what we are working on and encourage each other to pursue our passion. Our interests cover a wide range of topics, including film, vintage 35mm, medium and large format cameras, printing with silver gelatin, cyanotype, platinum and palladium, Van Dyke brown, and digital negatives, as well as the history and style of photography.
