September Program: Creating Images with Emotional Impact with Pat and Tom Cory
We are delighted to welcome back Pat and Tom Cory to the Huntsville Photographic Society. Over the years they have been one of the most popular presenters we have had. This program is a reminder of why we like them so much. They provided the following description of this program:
Ansel Adams once stated that a technically perfect image that lacked emotional impact was a failure.
A successful photograph, as any piece of art, evokes an emotional response in both the photographer and the viewer.
Photography requires a degree of technical expertise for the photographer to be able to translate his or her personal vision of a subject into an effective image. Technical expertise by itself, however, often results in a competent, not a memorable image. In this presentation we will explore some considerations to help enhance the emotional impact of our images.
Please remember that our programs have moved to Trinity United Methodist Church on Airport Rd and will begin at 7:00. See you there.
