Changing Moods with John Dersham
We are delighted to welcome back John Dersham to the Huntsville Photographic Society. He has a new book titled: Changing Moods – Sixty Years in Black and White. John’s photographic journey began on November 1, 1960 when he took his first photo with his father’s 1930 Kodak Brownie. From that modest start, his art has continued without pause for the next sixty years. His last job with Eastman Kodak brought him to Alabama where he fell in love with its’ natural beauty and varied terrain, as well as its’ people and places. John has been dedicated to a cumbersome, large format film view camera that provides exquisite print detail and while revealing his artistic vision.
Please join us at the downtown Huntsville Public Library at 6:00 pm on June 14th as John takes us along his sixty-year journey of photographic excellence.
