April Program: Crush the Composition by Scott Kelby
For our April Program, we will be viewing a video by Scott Kelby titled, “Crush the Composition” This is a video that I downloaded from YouTube in 2012. Although it has been around for some time, it’s still very much applicable to today. That’s because the video does not focus on Photoshop, as most of Scott’s videos usually do, but rather discusses photo composition from the idea of the photographer’s intent.
Scott presents a different approach than the old tried and true ideas (rules) we usually associate with photographic composition. I was inspired the first time I viewed this video which is why I have saved it all this time. I tried to share this video several months ago but due to technical difficulties, I kept loosing internet connection thus what you saw at that time was choppy and incomplete. Since then, I have a new modem and a new computer. My IT son-in-law has made sure that everything is working fine so I don’t anticipate the same difficulties this time around.
Several people have requested to see this video in its entirety so join us on April 12th for a rewarding and inspiring program.
